What is MathCon?
MathCon, or Math Convention, is a week-long online convention consisting of webinars where speakers of various professions discuss the applications of mathematics in their respective fields. With the theme Numbers Demystified, this year’s MathCon will delve deeper into the intersection of mathematics with startup businesses, data science, psychology, astrophysics, public finance, and indigenous textiles.
