About the Speaker
Jayzon Ty is currently an instructor for the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science in Ateneo de Manila University, where he teaches classes related to game development such as computer graphics and computational geometry. He got his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with specialization in Interactive Multimedia from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2014, and his Master's degree in Engineering from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Nara, Japan in 2018, where he worked on research projects related to Virtual and Augmented Reality. He then entered the game industry in 2019 as a game programmer for Japanese game company Spike Chunsoft, before returning to the Philippines. In his free time, he likes to play video games and to work on game programming projects.
